The thing I like the most about the RadiantQ Gantt control is how flexible it is, how easy it is to toss data at it and customize it. The provided demos are very helpful and covers a lot of topics.

The customer support is quick to answer and offers excellent support and that is a big plus in my book. Turns out the control can do a lot more than what the demos show off.

The only thing that I don’t like all that much is that the built-in printing functionality is poor and pretty useless. Limitations in Silverlight 4 is also to blame for this. However, there is a way to export the chart to a WriteableBitmap which can be used for a custom printing solution, which is how we’ve solved our printing requirements.

All in all, I highly recommend this excellent product.

RadiantQ’s Silverlight Gantt works well, and they’ve been helpful so far by providing useful samples when requested. When a bug has been spotted, they’ve been quick to provide a fix.

We had started to use IBM ILOG Silverlight Gantt in our product, but IBM’s support was very poor, and the component was really locked down, and because there was no source code we struggled to get it to do what we wanted.

RadiantQ’s Gantt is much more flexible though, and we purchased the Source Code from them, so we can see exactly how it works.

So far so good!

The control works well and is as configurable as you need. There is nothing we wanted to do that required a workaround on our part. There are a lot of nice touches that show maturity.

I have to say RadiantQ’s dev and support turnaround is some of the best we have ever experienced. The samples you provide are very comprehensive and much more accessible than many I have tried lately (others have a “framework” and look cool but are hard to dig through, or only touch on a few features). They show a lot of thought, from a developer’s perspective.

And the User Guide is a primo piece of work, very useful and also something lacking in a number of other companies’ products.

We also very much appreciated the fast turnaround for enhancements and fixes. In one case, we asked for a particular feature on a Friday, and there was a new version in my inbox the next morning. It was literally done overnight!

There is a winning combination here — of excellent controls, plenty of sample projects and amazing customer support. I have never experienced customer support like this – fast turn around and answers that were perfect.

I already had my data model (with obserable collections) and I did not have to take my data and have it conform to their tree node objects. At least one other competitor had tree node objects and I would have to put my objects in a tag field of their object. So, using my data model with Radiant’s gantt controls was so straight forward and a huge plus.

It is very nice to see that there are still developers that care about the important things as memory usage, performance and scalability. The support is unrivaled. I congratulate the guys at RadiantQ on the fantastic level of support that I’ve received. I can’t remember any time in the past when I’ve received this level of pre-sales support from any organization. This really is unprecendented as far as I’m concerned; my week was much easier than I anticipated during the evaluation phase on this product when developing my prototype application.

The ease with which I have been able to prototype our requirements is testament to how feature packed this product is. In addition the speed of turnaround when I asked a question that resulted in a code change on the RadiantQ side was almost too good to be true.

In my opinion this product is completely unbeatable for support, feature set and cost.

My Team has been using version 1.6 and now version 2.0 of the RadiantQ control to build a custom project management application in Silverlight 4.0, and the control has worked out great. The API is very straight forward, and when we’ve needed additional hooks into the control for automation, the RadiantQ team has been quick to respond to all our requests.

This is a truly a first rate control from a very responsive company. I definitely recommend it if you need a Gantt view anywhere in your application.

This silverlight controls is great, easy-to-use, beautiful looking and fully customizable. In our SaaS application we have tested it with lots of data, and it works quite fine. By the way, the support is awesome, we’d got some problems which was solved very quickly. Thanks to them again

Great control. I’ve been looking for a gantt control for months now. There’s not much out there. This control is so easy to get up and running. I had literally NO silverlight experience, my app was running on ASP.NET 3.5 vs2008. In 3 days I moved to .net 4.0, vs2010 and have now a fully functional realtime updateable gantt chart to front end my custom task / project managementment application. Not only is it intuitive, but its very well thought out as far as structure, methods, beautiful UI and fast. My management team was immediately impressed with this as a replacement to one of those ERP based project management solutions which doesn’t offer much for a user friendly interface. We honestly feel we can cut our ties with Microsoft Project client now, it’s THAT good.
